Check the name and dose on the Wegovy® pen match your prescription.
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Remove the pen cap and inspect the liquid inside the Wegovy® pen.
The liquid should be clear and colourless.
Do not use the Wegovy® pen if the liquid is cloudy, coloured, or contains particles.

Hold the Wegovy® pen with the needle pointing upwards
Press the dose button until the dose counter returns to “0”
Look for a small drop of medication at the needle tip
If no droplet appears:
Repeat the flow check up to two more times
If still no droplet, replace the needle and try once more
If the Wegovy® pen still does not show a droplet, contact MedExpress for support

You can inject Wegovy® into:

Turn the dose selector until it stops and your prescribed dose lines up with the dose pointer
Position the Wegovy® pen at a 90-degree angle to your skin
Insert the needle into your skin
Press and hold the dose button while counting slowly to 6
Ensure the 0 (zero) icon is visible in the dose window
Remove the needle from your skin
If bleeding occurs, gently press the area with a clean tissue. Do not rub.
