To complete your medical consultation or verify your weight, you may need to upload photos directly through your browser. If your camera is not opening, you likely need to "Allow" camera access in your browser or device settings.

How to Enable Camera Access by Browser
Google Chrome
Windows & macOS: Click the lock icon š to the left of the web address. Toggle the Camera switch to "Allow" or "On."
Android: Tap the three dots (menu) > Settings > Site settings > Camera. Ensure it is set to "Allowed."
iOS (iPhone/iPad): Go to your device Settings > Chrome > ensure Camera is toggled On.
Safari
macOS: Open Safari Settings > Websites tab. Select Camera in the left sidebar and change the setting for MedExpress to "Allow."
iOS (iPhone/iPad): Tap the "AA" icon in the address bar > Website Settings. Set Camera to "Allow."
Firefox
Windows & macOS: Click the permissions/lock icon next to the URL. If the camera is blocked, click the "X" next to "Blocked" to clear the setting and refresh the page to see the "Allow" prompt again.
Android: Tap the three dots (menu) > Settings > Site permissions > Camera > "Allow."
How to Enable Camera Access by Operating System
If the browser settings are correct but the camera still won't work, check your system-level privacy settings:
Windows 10/11: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera. Ensure "Camera access" is On and that your browser (Chrome/Firefox) has permission to use it.
macOS: Choose Apple Menu > System Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera. Ensure the box next to your browser is checked.
iOS/Android: Go to your main device Settings > Apps > select your browser (e.g., Chrome or Safari) > Permissions > Camera > "Allow."
Linux: Camera permissions are typically handled by the browser itself. Ensure you are not running the browser in a "Sandbox" or "Snap" mode that restricts hardware access without additional configuration.
Troubleshooting Tips
Refresh the page: Most changes require a page refresh to take effect.
Check File Type: Ensure your photos are in JPG or PNG format. "Live Photos" (HEIC) from iPhones may not upload correctly.
File Size: If your file is too large, try lowering your camera quality settings or taking the photo from a slightly further distance.
