How your GLP-1 weight loss subscription works

This article explains how your GLP-1 weight loss subscription works, including monthly deliveries, subscription payments, medical check-ins, dose changes, side effect reporting, and which subscription actions you can complete in My Subscriptions.

Use this article if you want to understand when your GLP-1 medication is delivered, when payment is taken, how to change your dose, or what changes are available for your subscription.


Your monthly deliveries

Each month, you will receive one GLP-1 pen delivered to your address.

You can change your upcoming dispatch date in My Subscriptions as long as you make the change 2-3 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) before the next scheduled dispatch date.


Payments

Your subscription payment is taken 1–3 working days before your scheduled dispatch date.

After payment has been taken and the order has been created in the system, no further changes can be made to that order.


Mandatory medical check-ins

To keep your GLP-1 weight loss subscription active, most patients need to complete a short medical check-in every 3 months.

A small number of patients with a lower BMI are asked to complete a medical check-in before every dispatch for medical safety reasons.

If you report a concern or side effect that the system flags for clinical review, your prescription will be placed on hold until a prescriber reviews your case. No orders will be dispatched while your prescription is on hold.


Changing your dose

You can request a dose change at any time through My Subscriptions.

You can request to move one dose step up, or any number of dose steps down.

If you do not request a dose change, you will continue receiving the same dose each month.

Dose changes are reviewed by a prescriber before approval.


Reporting side effects or health changes

You can report side effects or update your medical information at any time through My Subscriptions.

Your prescriber will review the information and contact you if needed.

To switch GLP-1 medication, you must cancel your current subscription and start a new subscription.

Resume a cancelled subscription

Resuming a cancelled subscription may require a medical check-in if there has been a gap.
