Re-starting after a gap in treatment – MedExpress

If you are continuing your treatment with MedExpress but have had a gap since your last order, please see the guidance below:

Time since last injection	Which dose should I order?*
Less than 8 weeks	The same as your previous dose or the next dose up. For example, if less than 8 weeks have passed since the dispatch of your previous GLP-1 order, you have two options: Continue with your previously tolerated dosage: If you experienced positive results and minimal side effects during your previous treatment, maintaining the same dose may be appropriate. Increase to the next available dose: If you tolerated your previous dose well and would like to potentially enhance your weight loss results, you could consider increasing to the next available dose as per the titration schedule.
Between 8 and 12 weeks	At the discretion of the prescriber, you may be advised to continue on your previous tolerated dose or step down.
Between 12 weeks and 6 months	At the discretion of the prescriber, you may be advised to continue on your previous tolerated dose, step down or restart treatment.
More than 6 months	If is has been more than 6 months since your last order with MedExpress, you would need to start a new treatment plan with us and the initial eligibility criteria would apply.

*Please note, our guidance is on the basis your last dose was well tolerated. We would advise maintaining or decreasing dosage if this is not the case. The above guidance is subject to change.
