Understanding when to place your next order is essential for maintaining consistent treatment, whether you are using GLP-1 weight loss medications or other prescribed treatments.
When Can I Place My Next Order?
For GLP-1 Weight Loss Medications (e.g., Wegovy® or Mounjaro®)
These medications are supplied as a single pre-filled pen intended to last for four weeks (based on a once-weekly dosing schedule). To ensure you do not experience a gap in your treatment:
Plan ahead: Monitor your usage closely. We recommend initiating your next order when you are due for your final dose of the current pen. This timing accounts for the clinical review process.
Clinical review time: Because weight loss injectables require additional clinical safety checks, placing your order early helps ensure your next supply arrives before your current one is exhausted, accounting for the 1–4 working days often required for clinical assessment and approval.
For Non-GLP-1 Medications
For other treatments, we recommend reordering before your current supply is exhausted. If your treatment is for an episodic condition, place your next order when you have enough medication to cover the transition period between ordering and delivery.
How to Check Your Reorder Status
MedExpress makes it easy to track when you can reorder your treatment:
Go to Your Dashboard: Log in to your MedExpress account and navigate to your account dashboard. From there, select "Order History."
Check Your Eligibility: In your Order History, you'll see all your previous orders. - If you're eligible to reorder, you'll see a "Reorder This Treatment" button. - If you're not eligible yet, you'll see a "Reorder from [date]" message showing when you can place your next order.
Important Reminders for Ongoing Orders
Clinical Approval: Every order undergoes a clinical review to ensure the treatment remains safe and appropriate.
Providing Updated Information: If your health circumstances or medication routine have changed, you must declare this during your consultation. Failure to do so may result in your order being placed on hold.
Communication: Keep an eye on the email address associated with your account. We will notify you if any additional information is required to process your new order.
