Required medical check-ins for your GLP-1 subscription

Most GLP-1 subscribers need to complete a short medical check-in — also known as a Repeats consultation — every 3 months. This medical check-in is a safety requirement to make sure your GLP-1 treatment remains appropriate for you.

If you miss your scheduled GLP-1 medical check-in, your GLP-1 subscription will be put on hold until the medical check-in consultation is completed.

Each GLP-1 prescription covers up to 3 fills at the same dose, with a 3-month expiry. You do not need a new consultation to request a GLP-1 dose change between required medical check-ins.

You can report side effects for your GLP-1 subscription in either of the following ways:

Click "Account and orders" (top right of the homepage)

On the "Your account" page, click the arrow next to "Get help with side effects"

1. Go to the MedExpress website
2. Click "Account and orders" (top right of the homepage)
3. Log in to your account
4. On the "Your account" page, click the arrow next to "Get help with side effects"

Visit medexpress.co.uk/consultation/side-effects directly. Make sure you're logged in with the account linked to your GLP-1 subscription.

You don't need to wait for your scheduled GLP-1 medical check-in to report a side effect. Your side effect report will be reviewed, and we'll contact you if any follow-up is needed.

On the "Your account" page, click "My subscriptions"

Scroll down to the "Has anything changed with your health?" section

Click the arrow next to "Medical details changed?"

1. Go to the MedExpress website
2. Click "Account and orders" (top right of the homepage)
3. Log in to your account
4. On the "Your account" page, click "My subscriptions"
5. Scroll down to the "Has anything changed with your health?" section
6. Click the arrow next to "Medical details changed?"

You can update your medical history at any time. Your prescriber has access to this updated medical information and will use it to keep your GLP-1 treatment safe.
