Overview
If your most recent GLP-1 weight loss treatment (such as Wegovy® or Mounjaro®) was prescribed by another provider, MedExpress will ask you to provide proof of that treatment before continuing your prescription at the correct dose.

Why Do I Need to Submit Proof of Previous Weight Loss Treatment?
If you've ordered a higher dose than the starting dose of your GLP-1 medication, MedExpress will ask you to provide Previous Use Evidence (PUE) confirming your previous treatment — regardless of whether that treatment was with MedExpress or another provider.
Why Does MedExpress Need This Proof?
If you've already been taking a GLP-1 medication, MedExpress needs to confirm exactly what you were taking, at what dose, and that each step of titration has been properly completed, before prescribing you a higher dose. Starting you at a dose higher than you've recently tolerated increases the risk of side effects, so MedExpress needs recent evidence of the dose you were on before moving you forward at the correct dose.
What Proof Does MedExpress Accept?
You can upload one of the following:
The dispensing label on your medication packaging
A copy of a recent prescription
A dispatch or shipment confirmation email
MedExpress cannot accept an order confirmation email. It must be a dispatch or shipment confirmation, since only this confirms the order was actually fulfilled and sent.
What Must My Proof Show?
Whichever document you upload, it needs to include all of the following:
Your name or email address
The medication name and dose
A clearly visible date
What If I Don't Have Any of This Evidence?
If you can't provide this evidence, MedExpress's clinical team will review your order and decide whether you can instead be prescribed the starting dose of your medication.
If so, the clinical team will email you to confirm which dose you can be prescribed and ask you to confirm you're happy for your order to be changed to that dose. Depending on your reply:
Your order is changed to the confirmed dose, and any difference in price is credited to your account
If you'd prefer not to proceed at this dose, your order is cancelled and you receive a full refund
This decision is made solely by MedExpress's clinical team and cannot be changed once it's been made.
