MedExpress offers several UK delivery options for flexible speed, cost, and collection choices, with all orders sent in discreet packaging and delivered across the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland. Any advertised delivery timeframe begins once your MedExpress order has been dispatched, not from when you placed the order, unless stated otherwise for a specific delivery option.

Same-day dispatch eligibility
Once your MedExpress prescription order is approved, MedExpress aims to dispatch your treatment the same day if the approval happens before 6pm. This depends on:
The MedExpress clinical review being complete and your order being approved
No additional safety screening being required
Please note: some treatments, including GLP-1 weight loss medications, require extra clinical checks. Because approval can take longer for these treatments, they may not be approved in time for same-day dispatch.
Delivery options for non-GLP-1 medications
For all standard (non-GLP-1) medications, the following delivery options are available:
Standard Delivery (£2.90): typically arrives 1–3 days after dispatch
Express Delivery (£3.95): typically arrives within 24 hours of dispatch
Post Office Collection (£3.95): typically ready for collection 1–3 working days (including Saturdays) after dispatch
Delivery partners for GLP-1 medications
As of March 2026, the delivery partner assigned to your weight loss medication depends on the specific brand you've been prescribed:
Mounjaro: all doses are delivered via Royal Mail, using the Royal Mail Tracked 24 service
Wegovy: all doses are delivered via DPD, using the DPD Next Day service
Important restriction: GLP-1 medications cannot be collected from a Post Office. They must be delivered directly to your chosen address via Royal Mail Tracked 24 (Mounjaro) or DPD Next Day (Wegovy). GLP-1 injections can't be sent for Post Office collection because they are temperature-sensitive.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 delivery for Mounjaro
MedExpress sends all Mounjaro orders using the Royal Mail Tracked 24 service. Here's what to expect from a Royal Mail Tracked 24 delivery of your Mounjaro order:
Delivery timeframe: Royal Mail Tracked 24 aims to deliver your Mounjaro order on the next working day after dispatch. If your Mounjaro order doesn't arrive the next working day, it can take 1–3 working days after dispatch.
Weekend delivery: Royal Mail Tracked 24 may also deliver your Mounjaro order on a Saturday or Sunday in some cases, depending on Royal Mail's delivery schedule for your area.
No signature required: Royal Mail doesn't need a signature to deliver your Mounjaro order. If you're not in, Royal Mail can leave your Mounjaro parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour.
Photo on delivery: Royal Mail takes a photo when your Mounjaro parcel is delivered, as confirmation of where the parcel was left.
Tracking link: once your MedExpress order has been dispatched, you'll receive a Royal Mail tracking link by email. You can use the Royal Mail tracking link to follow your Mounjaro delivery and to contact Royal Mail directly about your delivery.
DPD Next Day delivery for Wegovy
MedExpress sends all Wegovy orders using the DPD Next Day service. Here's what to expect from a DPD Next Day delivery of your Wegovy order:
Delivery timeframe: DPD Next Day aims to deliver your Wegovy order on the next day after dispatch, Monday to Saturday. If your Wegovy order doesn't arrive the next day, it can take 1–3 working days after dispatch.
Sunday delivery: DPD Next Day may also deliver your Wegovy order on a Sunday in some cases, depending on DPD's delivery schedule for your area.
1-hour delivery time slot: DPD can send you a notification with a 1-hour time slot for when your Wegovy parcel is due to arrive.
No signature required: DPD doesn't need a signature to deliver your Wegovy order. You can nominate a safe place or a neighbour for DPD to deliver your Wegovy parcel to.
Proof of delivery photo: DPD takes a proof of delivery photo as standard when your Wegovy parcel is delivered. You can view the DPD proof of delivery photo online or in the DPD app.
Tracking link: once your MedExpress order has been dispatched, you'll receive a DPD tracking link by email. You can use the DPD tracking link to follow your Wegovy delivery and to contact DPD directly if you need to make changes or need more information about your delivery.
Deliveries to certain areas: if your Wegovy order is being delivered to the Scottish Highlands, the Scottish Islands, the Isle of Man or Northern Ireland, check the DPD website for additional details, as DPD delivery details may vary in these areas.
Changing delivery details after dispatch
Once your MedExpress order has been dispatched, MedExpress can no longer change any delivery details for that order, such as the delivery address or delivery instructions.
To change delivery details for a GLP-1 order that has already been dispatched:
Wait for your tracking link, which is sent by email once your MedExpress order has been dispatched. Mounjaro orders get a Royal Mail tracking link and Wegovy orders get a DPD tracking link.
Use the tracking link to contact the delivery partner directly: Royal Mail for Mounjaro, or DPD for Wegovy.
Ask Royal Mail or DPD to make the change to your delivery.
Courier tracking
Regardless of which delivery partner is assigned to your order, MedExpress provides tracking confirmation so you can monitor your delivery progress:
DPD Next Day (Wegovy): track your progress through the DPD tracking service or mobile app
Royal Mail Tracked 24 (Mounjaro): track your progress via the Royal Mail tracking website or app
Confirmation: your final tracking details and assigned courier will be confirmed by email once your MedExpress order has been dispatched
