Managing Payments for Subscriptions

Overview

This article covers how to update your payment method and how payment dates work for your subscription.

Use this article to:

  • Update the payment method on your subscription

  • Understand how subscription payment dates work

  • Find out what happens if a payment fails

How to update your payment method

You can update your payment method by navigating to your Subscription dashboard here: https://www.medexpress.co.uk/my-subscriptions

or

  1. Go to the MedExpress website

  2. Click "Account and orders" (top right of the homepage)

  3. Log in to your account

  4. On the "Your account" page, click "My subscriptions"

  5. Find your subscription

  6. Scroll to the "Subscription settings" section and click "Edit" next to "Payment method"

  7. Enter and save your new card details

Your updated payment details will apply to all future orders on that subscription. If you have more than one subscription, you'll need to update payment details separately for each.

How payment dates work

Subscription payments are taken 1–3 working days before your scheduled dispatch date. There is no way to set a specific payment date independently — but if you'd like to shift when you're charged, you can reschedule your upcoming order from here: https://www.medexpress.co.uk/my-subscriptions. Moving your dispatch date will move your payment date accordingly.

What happens if a payment fails?

MedExpress will automatically retry your payment up to 3 times, with each retry 10 days apart. We recommend updating your card details in My Subscriptions as soon as possible to avoid a delay to your order.
